Charlotte Sandrine Latour graduated in Cultural Management in Europe and Corporate Communication Management related to Performing Arts in the mid of 1990s. As a passionate traveler, Charlotte Sandrine Latour continuously visited many countries around the world: this experience brought inspiration and influenced the language of art that she practiced following these journeys. From trips and interesting encounters to lessons or exciting discoveries, all contributed to new experiences, creating an "evolution" in her later painting style. From the colors of the rainbow to the depth of the heavenly world, from the abyss to the endless sky, everything was guided by emotions, through the color palette, brushes, knives, and her constant curiosity about the world she explored. She lived visual experiences based on the colors she applied to her paintings.

By 1997, she started working as a Cultural Coordinators for the French Embassy in Vietnam, During this time, she had the opportunity to immerse herself deeper into the local culture, and expand her experience with pottery, sewing, painting, and jewelry making.

In 2008, 'Les Ateliers de Charlotte' was established. This space was created as a platform for Charlotte to share her experiences from her travels and her interactions with diverse cultures and the natural world. Notably, she began developing a series of painting therapy workshops here, welcoming around 60 people of all ages, from 4 years old each week. This activity focuses on guiding participants to express their emotions through painting. No prior art experience is necessary; Charlotte teaches basic techniques and, more importantly, creates a space for individuals to deepen their self-awareness, engage with the artistic world, and produce works of art that reflect their unique personal experiences and vibrations

Charlotte's works are also strongly influenced by the famous American painter Jackson Pollock.

Highlight Exhibition

Her highlight must be the exhibition "Between Ether, Air and Matter (Entre l’Ether, l’Air et la Matière). In this exhibition, she uses spots and bands of color to depict the movement of the entire universe. These myriad movements are intertwined within a single frame. There, we find the blue of the sky, the black of the night, and all things converging in harmony. Therefore, each gap in the high-moving lines, though seeming like empty space, is actually filled with blocks of color, fertile lands filled with invisible energy. And through geometric shapes and plant-based color materials, we also find magical forests, deep algae area... appearing in the universe through shades of purple, blue, yellow, and silver."
